Usage Tips

Our balms, both Hemp Balm and Olive Balm, are designed to provide deep and gentle care for the most sensitive areas of your pet’s skin. While they are ideal for moisturizing and protecting paws and the nose, these balms can also be applied to other parts of the body that need special care, such as dry, irritated, or friction-prone areas.

  1. Pre-Cleaning: Ensure that the area where the balm will be applied is clean and dry for best results.
  2. Application: With clean hands, take a small amount of balm and gently apply it to the desired area. Massage softly until the product is absorbed.
  3. Use on Paws and Nose: These balms are perfect for protecting and moisturizing paw pads, especially after walks on rough or hot surfaces, and the nose, particularly in intense sun or cold wind.
  4. Use on the Body: If your pet has dry or irritated areas on other parts of the body, such as elbows or belly, the balm can be applied to those areas to help restore hydration and skin softness.
  5. Reapplication: For best results, reapply the balm as needed, especially after outdoor activities or walks.
  6. Monitoring: Although all our products are made with natural and gentle ingredients, it’s always good practice to monitor your pet’s skin after application. If any adverse reactions or sensitivity are observed, discontinue use and consult a vet.
  7. Avoid Eye Contact: Be careful not to apply the product directly to your pet’s eyes.
  8. Storage: Store the balm in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, to maintain its properties for longer.

Important:

  • Daily Use: These balms are safe for daily use, especially for pets prone to dry or sensitive skin.
  • Wound Care: Avoid applying the balm directly on open or infected wounds without veterinary guidance.
  • Deep Hydration: Both balms provide intense hydration, helping to restore the skin’s elasticity and softness.
